San Diego County McDonald’s Kicks Off The School Year With Free Back-To-School Breakfast Week

Balanced Breakfast Offer Extended to One Week

School BreakfastSAN DIEGO – Sept. 8, 2017 – To make the back-to-school season easier for families, participating San Diego County McDonald’s restaurants are offering free breakfast Sept. 11 – 15 from 6:30 – 9:30 a.m. to students in kindergarten through eighth grade when an accompanying adult uses the McDonald’s app at purchase.

Students can enjoy a balanced breakfast consisting of an Egg White Delight or Egg McMuffin, apple slices and milk. Children younger than 13 years of age must be accompanied by an adult to redeem this offer at participating restaurants.

This year, San Diego County McDonald’s is extending the offer from one day to a full week to help make back to school adjustments easier for parents and students alike, without having to compromise a balanced breakfast that helps get their day started. Students can enjoy balanced options at McDonald’s, including the Egg White Delight McMuffin, which features freshly grilled egg whites, extra lean Canadian bacon and white cheddar on an English muffin.

“At San Diego County McDonald’s, we are committed to the well-being of families in our community, especially children,” said Jamie Straza, president of the San Diego County McDonald’s Owner/Operators Association. “We’re happy to offer a free breakfast with great-tasting options and balanced ingredients that will help students be on top of their game in the classroom.”

Customers can download the McDonald’s app in the App Store or on Google Play. For nutrition information and additional details about McDonald’s full line of breakfast choices, visit
